Ongoing Projects:
The US Department of Interior, BIA has awarded a national IDIQ contract to JDA for services including design and design-build services at locations throughout the United States.

Strategic Refuge Infrastructure and Facilities Planning
Ongoing Projects:
Across 26 national USFWS refuge sites, JDA was selected to develop concept site and facilities plans to include infrastructure, administrative/office facilities, trails, teaching areas, interpretive and environmental education, parking and access.

Ongoing Project:
JDA was selected by the Bureau of Indian Education to guide the programming, budget development, pre-design services and design for renovations of the historic Stidham Student Union. Working with leadership at Haskell Indian Nations University, JDA is providing full design for a central facility at a National Historic Registered campus.

Research Support Facility
"World's Largest Net Zero Energy Office Buildings"
At $100 million and 360,000 SF: the Research Support Facility is a showcase of how High Performance buildings can be aesthetically compelling and reduce performance risks to the Owner, Designer, and Builder. Designed to meet the LEED Platinum rating as defined by the US Green Buildings Council: the first Zero Energy Building (ZEB) of its kind.

"1ST LEED Gold (Air National Guard)"
This $8.3 million project, constructed on a 5 acre site , included 3 new buildings, including a 30,000 SF Headquarters facility. As a High Performance facility, the project was constructed to meet the requirements of LEED Gold...a first for HQ buildings for the Air National Guard. Integrating high-performance systems such as Energy Star equipment and photo voltaic (PV) energy generation, the CESH increased value without changing the appropriated price.

IHNC Lock Replacement
Through application of a unique "Design-Build" acquisition strategy; the overarching purpose, goals, and objectives of the project improved efficiency and reliable passage of waterborne traffic locking through the IHNC, by reducing transit times of waterborne traffic locking through the IHNC with a new replacement lock capable of handling today’s waterborne commerce needs.

"1st Performance-Based Design-Build for KSU"
The International Animal Health and Food Safety Institute, a $28 million, 108,000 square foot LEED Certified facility, expanded K-State into a three-campus system.
The building includes laboratories, classrooms, one of the area’s largest teaching kitchens, a 125-person auditorium, a public bistro and conference rooms. One-third of the building is made up of state-of-the-art labs available for private enterprises that want to collaborate with K-State researchers and students

"1st Performance-Based Design-Build WWT Facility in US"
The Liberty project is the first Design-build of it's type in Missouri and, in ways, the US. It is an example project used to successfully forge Design-build legislation in Missouri. In utilizing a fixed price, performance based procurement with incentives, this $75 million, 7MGD+ complex maximized the best of Design-build to resounding success.
